BSBMKG502 – Establish and adjust the marketing mix


This online course relates to the following Australian, nationally recognised unit of competency:

  • BSBMKG502 – Establish and adjust the marketing mix.

By successfully completing this course, it is expected that you will have developed the knowledge and practical skills required to determine the optimum marketing mix for a business.

You will learn about, and be required to: analyse and report on each interrelated component of an organisation’s marketing mix (the 4Ps). In addition, following your evaluation report, you will be given the opportunity to demonstrate your ability to competently develop a customised marketing mix – for a particular product – which addresses the needs of a clearly defined target market.

This course is appropriate to individuals whom are currently working in marketing management roles, or for those individuals with aspirations to move into the field of business development. Typically, these people are responsible for developing an organisation’s marketing and promotional mix. They may also adjust the marketing mix when new marketing opportunities are identified.
